Job Description

10 Month position

Commencing September 2024

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Teach Health Occupations to high school students
• Work collaboratively with the other Health Occupations teacher
• Develop work experience/clinic rotations for students at local hospitals and nursing homes
• Teach students to work in entry-level positions in the Health Occupations field including Nurse Assistant, Developmental Therapy Aide, and Personal Care Aide

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse
• NYS Teacher Certification (Preferred)
• Four years' experience in nursing
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
