MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is responsible for developing, reviewing, analyzing, and managing contracts for Broome-Tioga BOCES. This position will work with vendors to renew and negotiate agreements.  Candidate will work closely with departments and vendors to ensure compliance with terms and conditions and BOCES policies and regulatory requirements, as well as with the purchasing team to ensure contracts and bids/RFPs are in compliance with legal and purchasing requirements. Candidate would develop processes and procedures for contract management processing and software workflow. Candidate will be responsible for providing management with requested reports.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Support Services & Leadership and related Professional Learning & Innovation Center Staff
  • Supports the programs, services, and staff in the Professional Learning and Innovation Center
  • Utilizes various tools to communicate and report on services to component districts, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Uses digital tools to develop and maintain online professional learning catalogs, participation, and attendance records
  • Coordinates with consultants and develops contracts as needed to support the work of the Professional Learning and Innovation Center
  • Assists with copies, preparation, and mailing of materials as needed
  • Assists with updating service websites
  • Assists with compiling service-related data and preparing required reports
  • Organizes and maintains service-related files
  • May assist staff in planning and administering service-related programs
  • Answer office phones, addressing district/ service-related questions
  • Does related work as required

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for reviewing, monitoring and managing contracts and quotes, reconciling revenues and expenditures, and preparing reports. This work is primarily financial/statistical in nature, but requires an understanding of the operating plans and activities of a purchasing department.

Min Salary: $48,252
