MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruct students in accordance with New York State licensing requirements for nail technology
• Deliver engaging hands-on training in the following areas: natural nail care techniques, safety and sanitation practices, bacteriology and infection control, manicure and pedicure procedures, artificial nail enhancement techniques, application of hard and soft UV gels and acrylics, nail art, color theory and design principles; as well as anatomy and physiology of the arms, hands, legs and feet
• Prepare and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum goals
• Monitor students' progress and provide ongoing feedback and support
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and enforce safety protocols
• Encourage a positive, professional learning environment

Responsibilities:

Nursing instructors to work within our Adult Education Health Programs (Licensed Practical Nurse, Phlebotomy, Certified Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, Sterile Processing). Instructors deliver course content, evaluate and grade coursework, and provide coverage for clinical rotations. Programs are taught periodically throughout the year, some during the day and others during the evening.

10 Month position - 6 hours per day/30 hours per week

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an Interpreter for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to facilitate communication between a student who is deaf/hard of hearing and other students and staff. Key responsibilities include:

• Use of sign language to convey teacher instruction
• Assisting student in academic and non-academic settings for the purpose of supporting effective communication
• On-going collaboration with the student's team to ensure they understand the needs of the student and how to implement accommodations
• Supporting student to achieve high expectations
• Accurately completing all paperwork related to position as required by school policies and procedures

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct instruction to adult students at varying academic levels, both in academic and performance skills, to prepare them for entry-level work in the manufacturing field.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct instruction to an Adult Barbering program based on the educational curriculum.  Students are to be prepared with high quality teaching methods while enhancing their learning capacities with skills needed to excel in the profession.

10 Month position

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Teach Health Occupations to high school students
• Work collaboratively with the other Health Occupations teacher
• Develop work experience/clinic rotations for students at local hospitals and nursing homes
• Teach students to work in entry-level positions in the Health Occupations field, including Nurse Assistant, Developmental Therapy Aide, and Personal Care Aide

Part-Time Position

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Teach and supervise adults at different levels, both in academic and performance skills to prepare them for apprenticeship in the electrical trades.
