Nursing Instructors (Part-Time) (Continuous Recruitment)25-107

Responsibilities:

Nursing instructors to work within our Adult Education Health Programs (Licensed Practical Nurse, Phlebotomy, Certified Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, Sterile Processing). Instructors deliver course content, evaluate and grade coursework, and provide coverage for clinical rotations. Programs are taught periodically throughout the year, some during the day and others during the evening.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an Interpreter for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to facilitate communication between a student who is deaf/hard of hearing and other students and staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Use of sign language to convey teacher instruction
  • Assisting student in academic and non-academic settings for the purpose of supporting effective communication
  • On-going collaboration with the student's team to ensure they understand the needs of the student and how to implement accommodations
  • Supporting student to achieve high expectations
