Major Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all district-based Career and Technical Education (CTE) programming, including supervising the administrative team and serving as the primary point of contact for component school districts
• Cultivate and expand educational programming and strategic partnerships within Tioga County to drive regional growth
• Lead and supervise all Adult Education programming, providing direct guidance and support to the program's administrative team
• Identify, secure, and administer grants in collaboration with internal teams to fund and sustain departmental initiatives
• Align and support the Center for Career and Technical Excellence in connection with the NY Inspires initiative
• Guide and assist component school districts through the New York State Education Department (NYSED) program approval process.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational leadership and objectives.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining student files/filing. Responsible for daily and weekly student attendance reports. Provide clerical support to administrator of facility, as well as faculty.  Performs a variety of related clerical tasks including phones, data entry and other duties as needed. Be proficient in file systems using computer (Microsoft Office Suite). Does other related programmatic work as required.

We are seeking qualified candidates to serve as substitute instructors on an as-needed basis for the following positions:

Residential Electricity – 1 Position

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide on-call coverage in basic electrical theory and residential wiring practices
• Teach topics such as electrical safety, tools, wiring methods, circuits, and code basics
• Supervise hands-on classroom activities to ensure safe use of tools and equipment
• Reinforce adherence to safety standards and industry best practices
• Follow lesson plans and support continuity of instruction.
• Assist students in developing practical, job-ready electrical skills
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment
• Take attendance and document student participation
• Communicate updates or concerns to program staff/administration

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential electrical work
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and basic code requirements
• Ability to supervise and instruct hands-on lab activities
• Availability for on-call/substitute assignments

Barbering – 1 Position

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide on-call instructional coverage for barbering classes
• Deliver both theoretical and practical instruction in barbering techniques and practices
• Teach skills including haircutting, shaving, beard design, sanitation, and tool use
• Reinforce New York State barbering laws, safety, and infection control procedures
• Supervise students in a barbershop/lab environment
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of instruction during the instructor's absence.
• Provide feedback to students to support skill development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional training environment
• Take attendance and document student engagement and progress.
• Communicate with program staff/administration regarding student needs or concerns

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Barbering License
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional barbering experience
• Strong knowledge of sanitation, safety, and barbering techniques
• Ability to instruct and supervise hands-on skills
• Availability for on-call/substitute assignments

Nail Specialty– 1 Position

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide on-call instructional coverage for Nail Specialty classes in the absence of the regular instructor
• Deliver lessons aligned with New York State Nail Specialty curriculum and licensing requirements
• Teach both theory and hands-on skills, including nail care, manicuring, pedicuring, nail enhancements, and sanitation practices.
• Reinforce infection control, safety procedures, and proper use of tools and products
• Supervise students in a salon/lab environment to ensure safe and professional practices
• Follow existing lesson plans and maintain continuity of instruction
• Support student skill development and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in accordance with state regulations.
• Take attendance and document student participation and progress as required.
• Communicate any concerns or updates to program staff/administration

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Nail Specialty License
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience
• Strong knowledge of sanitation, safety, and nail care practices

Building Trades – 1 Position

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide on-call instructional coverage for Building Trades classes
• Deliver instruction in foundational construction skills (carpentry, framing, wiring, measuring, roofing, tool use, etc.)
• Supervise hands-on projects and ensure safe use of tools and equipment
• Reinforce workplace safety practices and industry standards
• Follow lesson plans to maintain continuity of instruction
• Support student development of entry-level construction skills
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Take attendance and document student engagement
• Provide basic feedback to support student learning
• Communicate any issues or updates to program staff/administration

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver classroom instruction aligned with the ServSafe® Manager Certification exam, including food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Prepare students to successfully pass the ServSafe® Manager certification exam through structured lessons, practice tests, and review sessions.
• Teach core topics such as foodborne illness prevention, personal hygiene, time and temperature control, cross-contamination, cleaning and sanitizing, and HACCP principles.
• Provide hands-on culinary instruction to reinforce classroom learning, including: basic knife skills and kitchen safety, food preparation techniques (measuring, mixing, cooking methods, etc.), proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices and kitchen organization and workflow.
• Supervise students in a lab/kitchen environment, ensuring safe and sanitary practices at all times
• Maintain compliance with local and state health regulations and program standards
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with course objectives
• Administer quizzes, practice exams, and final assessments to monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and certification readiness

Commences September 2026

Major Responsibilities:

Works with cook manager to prepare meals for large numbers of customers. Operates various kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, pressure cookers, ovens, dishwashers, and choppers. Operates cash register and maintains a smooth flow of customers during operational hours. Key responsibilities include:

• Experience cooking meals for more than 50 people
• Working in an industrial kitchen
• Good knowledge of modem cooking utensils, appliances and equipment
• Good knowledge of approved methods of preparing, cooking and baking food in large quantities.
• Good knowledge of kitchen and food preparation sanitation.
• Working knowledge of food values and nutrition.
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions and recipes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will implement Project Based Learning in the classroom with a collaborative approach. The projects and classroom experiences will help students to select their Career & Technical Education path moving forward in their high school career, and ultimately into the workforce/higher education upon graduation. Key responsibilities include:

• Experience with the fundamentals of technical support
• Knowledge of hand tool projects
• Knowledge of mechanical systems
• Knowledge and ability to use 3D Printers
• Knowledge of Career & Technical Education programs and pre-requisite skills students should possess upon entering these classes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare lunch for staff in the Bistro on school days. Plan a weekly menu of daily specials. Order and organize incoming food orders, collaborate with the cook for smooth kitchen operation, and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen. Manage and assign duties to the cook. Also, manage student workers during the Summer Youth Employment program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct instruction to an Adult Barbering program based on the educational curriculum.  Students are to be prepared with high quality teaching methods while enhancing their learning capacities with skills needed to excel in the profession.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach adult students in both the academic and performance skills area to prepare them for entry-level work as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician. Requires classroom lecture and arranging shadowing experiences with local hospitals Sterile Processing Departments.

Responsibilities:

Nursing instructors to work within our Adult Education Health Programs (Licensed Practical Nurse, Phlebotomy, Certified Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, Sterile Processing). Instructors deliver course content, evaluate and grade coursework, and provide coverage for clinical rotations. Programs are taught periodically throughout the year, some during the day and others during the evening.

10 Month position - 6 hours per day/30 hours per week

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an Interpreter for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to facilitate communication between a student who is deaf/hard of hearing and other students and staff. Key responsibilities include:

• Use of sign language to convey teacher instruction
• Assisting student in academic and non-academic settings for the purpose of supporting effective communication
• On-going collaboration with the student's team to ensure they understand the needs of the student and how to implement accommodations
• Supporting student to achieve high expectations
• Accurately completing all paperwork related to position as required by school policies and procedures

• Teach Health Occupations to high school students
• Work collaboratively with the other Health Occupations teacher
• Develop work experience/clinic rotations for students at local hospitals and nursing homes
• Teach students to work in entry-level positions in the Health Occupations field, including Nurse Assistant, Developmental Therapy Aide, and Personal Care Aide

Part-Time Position

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Teach and supervise adults at different levels, both in academic and performance skills to prepare them for apprenticeship in the electrical trades.
