MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Their responsibilities include analyzing operational procedures, implementing improvements, managing fiscal data, and facilitating financial services, including budgeting and accounting for multiple school districts. Additionally, they serve as a liaison between district staff, administration, and Boards of Education.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Budget Financial Analyst role involves professional tasks centered on developing and managing school district budgets. Responsibilities include issuing budget schedules, consolidating budget requests, preparing budget proposals for stakeholders, analyzing resource changes, explaining financial allocations, and preparing long and short-term financial plans.  Does related work as required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs general accounting duties such as maintaining a general ledger, making journal entries, advising supervisors in regard to appropriate balances and fund transfers, and reconciling trial balances, bank statements and accounts.  Assists in the development and implementation of new accounting procedures and systems to provide a clear audit trail of financial transactions.  Prepares a variety of financial and statistical reports and analyses to comply with State, Federal and Local requirements, and to provide pertinent information for decision making.  Assists in the preparation of an annual budget including estimation of revenues and appropriations.  Assists in the implementation of new accounting procedures.
