MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs general accounting duties such as maintaining a general ledger, making journal entries, advising supervisors in regard to appropriate balances and fund transfers, and reconciling trial balances, bank statements and accounts.  Assists in the development and implementation of new accounting procedures and systems to provide a clear audit trail of financial transactions.  Prepares a variety of financial and statistical reports and analyses to comply with State, Federal and Local requirements, and to provide pertinent information for decision making.  Assists in the preparation of an annual budget including estimation of revenues and appropriations.  Assists in the implementation of new accounting procedures.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accurately maintains financial records. Assists in the management of request for services, and the billing of those services to the districts. Assists in the management of data regarding the receipt of products and services for billing the vendor.  Participate in the creation of reports for budget purposes. Utilizes software applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, WINCAP, and Outlook. Does related duties as required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitate the budget development process, including the preparation of budget analysis worksheets and the preparation of some salary budgets.  Assist in the preparation of district wide cost allocations.  Prepare fund balance worksheets and assist in the analysis of projections.  Conduct studies and prepare reports or recommendations for CBO management and districts as appropriate.  Attend meetings as a representative of the Central Business Office in a technical or advisory capacity as required.  Does related work as required.
