MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will work with districts who take part in the SCRIC Managed Data Service. Provides assistance in the daily direction and communication to employees on service operation and projectrelated tasks. Provides continual evaluation of processes and procedures, suggests methods to improve operations, efficiency, and service to customers. Assists in the assigning of appropriate team members for resolution of service-related issues within assigned school districts or services. Prepares for and leads meetings with SCRIC staff to review open incidents, projects, and other applicable topic. Interacts with school district staff and SCRIC staff to ensure that service-related issues are resolved quickly and in a professional manner. Communicates regularly with SCRIC teams regarding the state of service operations, providing the critical link between service organizations and service management for an assigned set of school districts or services. Works with supervisor on developing long-range plans, policies, and procedures. Enforces departmental policies and procedures within the department. Reviews the quality of customer support provided to school districts in terms of response time and accuracy. Attends district or service meetings and provides information as it pertains to SCRIC services. Prepares for and leads meetings with SCRIC staff and key district stakeholders to review projects, reporting, and other applicable topics. Identifies training needs and coordinates appropriate training to users as well as the SCRIC staff. Identifies service issues or internal school district changes
that may affect SCRIC services. Prepares and maintains a variety of reports.

IT Specialist (BOCES) - Data Integration Team24-220

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our Data Integration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing data integration processes, esuring seamless data flow across various systems, and supporting the organization's data management needs.

Key Resposibilities include: 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain data integration solutions to support business operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design integration workflows
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure data consistency across systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders regarding data integration issues
  • Document data integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data integration and recommend improvements

Business Services Specialist (2 positions)24-202

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews service-related problems and concerns reported by the customer, investigates problem sources, works with the service delivery team to recommend solutions; Effectively communicates solutions in both written and oral form with other departments, third party vendors, customers, and the service delivery team to efficiently resolve any issues.
  • Provides basic technical support for business information systems by outlining steps for resolution and explaining preventative measures
  • Trains and supports districts and internal teams in the software used for the Technology Procurement process for tracking of purchasing and receiving of goods and services
  • Escalates complex business information system technical support tickets to the applicable service delivery team
  • Tracks and reviews maintenance and licensing agreements and processes annual renewals
  • Prepares district anticipated service reports and manages the billing of those services
  • Enters requisitions and process purchase orders once they have been fully approved
  • Maintains district budgets for business services and provides monthly reconciliations
  • Provides support to internal teams with contract and procurement questions
